My blogger friend, Lala and I, took a trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts. Before the snow fell in Michigan, we had a mini photo taking session.
Jeans are so hard to find for mostly all body shapes, especially since I have short, fat legs. So finally, I went to Burlington Coat Factory and found a pair of stretch jeans. OMG. They are nice and comfortable. Doesn’t even pinch my belly rolls either.
I got this peplum jacket from Torrid last year. Had to pull this staple piece out the back of the closet. I really love this shot! So laid back, which I rarely am. Haha.

Many fashionistas, naturalistas, health gurus, and creative souls came together and made this 2nd annual event a great success.
Guests from all over the city came together to attend the style, health, and beauty workshops.
I thought these two were just stunning in their colorful print and floral patterned dresses.
Outfit Details: The dress and shades are from Forever21, and the floral jacket I got from Burlington Coat Factory 🙂
Thank you Ginny for inviting me. I learned a lot about health, beauty, and style. Can’t wait for the third expo!

As you all can see this is my favorite stripped jacket from Torrid! I wear it all the time. Versatility.
My friend and I were enjoying sushi at Kabuki’s in Dearborn. Black and white with a pop of color. Classic style maneuver. And we are both wearing Ruby Woo from MAC.
Feeling like a rockstar in this drab weather.
